We make the technology in your home easier to understand, easier to use, and better suited to the way you live.
Personal technology design and implementation for people who value good equipment, thoughtful systems, and control over their own home. Not senior tech support. Not a smart-home installation.
Respect is the starting point
Modern home technology is often fragmented, poorly explained, and difficult to operate even for intelligent, capable people. This service acknowledges that.
We are for
- Older adults who want their home technology to work without becoming technology experts
- Discerning homeowners who value good equipment and thoughtful systems
- People who want control over their own home and their own accounts
- Adult children who want to help a parent, with the parent's permission and authority preserved
- Anyone who has ever felt frustrated by a remote control, a Wi-Fi password, or a TV that won't cooperate
We are not
- Generic senior tech support that talks down to you
- A smart-home installation company selling a one-size-fits-all equipment package
- An AI showcase or automated recommendation engine
- A monthly membership you need just to watch television or play music
- A service that replaces your existing equipment by default
How the Clarity Visit works
Every engagement begins with a paid assessment. Nothing is purchased or installed until you approve the plan.
Listen
A conversation about what you want the technology in your home to do. Your goals, your words, no jargon.
Observe
We watch how you currently use the technology. The gaps between what it should do and what it does become clear.
Inspect
Television, audio, Wi-Fi, phones, computers, smart devices, accessibility needs. We look at what you have and what works.
Prioritize
We separate urgent problems from optional improvements. We identify confusing, unreliable, redundant, or unnecessary equipment.
Explain
Plain-language explanation of findings. No jargon, no assumptions. You understand what is happening and why.
Confirm
We confirm your priorities before recommending any purchases or changes. No purchase begins until you approve the plan and scope.
What you receive when the project is done
The project is not complete when the equipment turns on. It is complete when you can perform the main tasks without coaching.
- A simple operating guide in plain language. Large print if you prefer it.
- Large, clear labels where they help. On remotes, inputs, switches, and anything that is easy to forget.
- One "start here" control path for the main task you do every day. Watch TV, play music, make a call. One path, no branching.
- A live demonstration where you operate the system yourself, with help nearby if needed.
- A clear list of what Tomasetti handles and what requires a licensed specialist.
- A follow-up check-in to make sure everything still works the way you expect.
A permitted family member may receive a digital copy of the guide. Family involvement never silently replaces your authority over your own accounts or home.
The offer ladder
You only need to understand the next appropriate step. One recommended path, one alternative when useful.

What we can cover
The assessment determines what Tomasetti can handle directly, what should be deferred, and what requires a qualified specialist.
TV, streaming, remotes
Roku, streaming, dialogue clarity, one-remote control, removing the pile of conflicting remotes.
Music and listening
Whole-home music, personal listening, Spotify, Bluetooth, making existing equipment work together.
Wi-Fi and connectivity
Coverage, device connections, eliminating the dead spots and the dropouts that happen at the worst time.
Phones, tablets, computers
Printers, backups, the everyday devices that should just work and often do not.
Accessibility
Larger text, clearer sound, voice controls, simpler controls. Making technology work for the way you actually live.
Privacy and security
Device stewardship, connected-home guidance, understanding what your devices share and with whom.
Network organization
Home network cleanup, sensible naming, removing the mystery from the box with the blinking lights.
Smart-home guidance
Controls that genuinely help, not a pile of gadgets that create more confusion than they solve.
What requires a licensed specialist
Electrical, structural, in-wall wiring, security systems, health-device, and other specialized work is assessed case by case. The written plan will clearly state what Tomasetti will perform and what requires an electrician, low-voltage technician, locksmith, security professional, home theater installer, accessibility specialist, hearing specialist, or network cabling provider. Tomasetti does not claim licenses or qualifications it does not hold.
How we treat your home and your trust
Brand-agnostic where practical. Transparent about cost, labor, uncertainty, and outside specialists.
Permission first
We ask permission before accessing accounts or passwords. We do not store credentials in ordinary client notes.
Family on your terms
We ask permission before involving family members. You remain the decision-maker for your own home.
Transparent about money
We disclose any referral fee or financial relationship. The business does not depend on hidden hardware markup.
Respect existing gear
We respect your equipment rather than replacing it by default. Good equipment that works stays.
Honest about limits
We do not claim licenses or qualifications we do not hold. When a recommendation depends on a specialist, we say so.
Everything in writing
The Home Technology Map, the implementation plan, the operating guide, the handoff. You always have it in hand.
Common questions
Straight answers, no runaround.
What is the Home Technology Map?
It is the short written document you receive after the Clarity Visit. It contains: what to do now, what to improve next, what to leave alone, what needs a licensed specialist, one recommended path, one alternative where appropriate, estimated equipment, labor, and specialist costs, and the next decision you need to make. It is yours to keep whether or not you proceed with implementation.
Why is the visit paid instead of free?
The Clarity Visit is a real diagnostic and planning service, not a free shopping consultation. It creates immediate value for you and filters out people who are not serious. The full assessment fee is credited toward approved implementation within 30 days, so if you proceed, the visit effectively becomes free.
Do I need to know what equipment I have before I call?
No. The intake form asks what you want to be easier and what frustrates you. You do not need model numbers to book the visit. Photos or device details are requested only when they help prepare for the appointment.
Can my adult child be involved?
Yes, with your permission. Adult children may participate and may receive a digital copy of the guide. But you remain the primary user and the decision-maker. Family involvement never silently replaces your authority over your own accounts or home.
Will you try to sell me a lot of new equipment?
No. We respect your existing equipment rather than replacing it by default. The business does not depend on hidden hardware markup. Any sourcing fee, referral compensation, or equipment margin is disclosed to you. The value is in the judgment and execution, not in moving boxes.
What area do you serve?
Longmont, Boulder, Niwot, Lyons, Loveland, and the Front Range. If you are outside this area, call us and we will see what is possible.
